Mpumelelo is a dynamic training and development consultancy firm specializing in the delivery of training and development service solutions in the domains of Eskom Generation, Optimum Coal and other large Organizations.

Together with our customers, we design long-term strategies to achieve the most advantageous venture performance. We develop, execute, incorporate, and uphold all of Eskom Generation's Fundamental based Operating qualifications, based on the high quality and principal essentials that would add value to their business objectives.

All Mpumelelos products, which our specialists adapt to customers' explicit unique requirements, are always customized for the learner's specific environment. This goal is achieved through solid partnership with steadfast developers which are suitably qualified  enabling Mpumelelo to incorporate the most effective solution to our clients business requirements.

Mpumelelo Company History

1997: Mpumelelo was formed with the initial focus to develop leaders within the Eskom Operating environment.

2005: First accreditation at EWSETA.

2006: Research i.t.o. Fundamental requirements were started at various Power Stations. Development of customized training programme for Optimum Coal.

2007: First accreditation for Fundamental Unit Standards (accreditation was a three stage process due to large number of Unit Standards.)

2010: Re-accreditation with EWSETA : 583ETQA05POO97 - valid until 2015.

2011: Accreditation at ETDP: ETDPS1319 for Assessor training course (Conduct Outcomes Based Assessment) All Mpumelelos's staff are Moderators and Assessors are registered at EWSETA/MERSETA/ETDP

2012: Training needs analysis adressed for Optimum coal with a new training programme. Accreditation of new Unit Standards for soft skills.

2013 – Expanding Accreditation Scope  at ETDP-SETA: ETDPS1319 for Train the Trainer (Facilitate learning using a variety of given methodologies US 117871) and Moderator Course (Conduct moderation of outcomes-based assessment US 115759).

2014 - Skills Programmes done at various companies.

2015 – Assisting new companies with their Accreditation processes, our re-accreditation at EWSETA was approved until 2019, we are now also on the Vendor List at SAQA.
